Your First Visit
The first time you visit us at Prime Dental, we will discuss your health history, past dental experiences, and any anxieties you may have about dental care.
To help us serve you best, we need to know what your expectations and needs are for treatment. Of course, urgent concerns, like tooth pain or a broken tooth, will be addressed immediately.
Save Time Before You Arrive
When all you want is to see the dentist, the last thing you want to do is spend twenty minutes filling out paperwork when you arrive. Our new patient forms are available online so you can fill them out in the convenience of your own home.

What to Expect at Your First Visit
At Prime Dental, we take a comprehensive approach to your oral health:
- X-Rays and Photos - We’ll begin by taking a full set of x-rays and photos. These give us a complete view of your mouth, including the roots of your teeth and your jawbones.
- Periodontal Exam - Next, Dr. Kym will perform a detailed periodontal exam to evaluate your gum health. Based on the results, she will recommend the most appropriate hygiene treatment tailored to your needs.
- Restorative Evaluation - Dr. Kym will also assess whether any restorative treatment is needed. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about treatment options or home care so you feel fully informed.

Your gums are the foundation of a healthy smile. At Prime Dental, one of the first things we check for is signs of gum disease. Because gum health is critical to overall oral health, Dr. Kym carefully diagnoses your gum condition and recommends the right hygiene treatments to keep your smile strong and healthy.
Our New Patient Special includes x-rays and a comprehensive exam. This first step helps us create the right care plan for you. Cleanings (hygiene treatment) and restorative treatments are scheduled separately based on your needs.
